The joy on this TikToker's face after creating this mashup is matched only by the joy of the mashup itself. (SLTT)

What did she mash up? Some version of the Star Wars theme, obviously. But what else?

It's from a group called M83 - the track is called 'My tears are becoming a sea'.

Is she and the youtuber the same person? Because these sound basically the same.

This is a helpful reminder that M83 is really good, and notification that they have five new albums since last I checked. Thanks for soundtracking my week, secretdark.

The YouTube version is based on the TikTok.

At first, I thought the headphones around her neck were a touch of Rey cosplay ala the goggles from Force Awakens.

Love this for all the reasons Wretch729 cited.

This was the only M83 mashup I needed.

nice!
did you know some churches require the traditional wedding march to be played as the only musical option? did you also know that an appropriately talented and nerdy organist can pop back and forth between the imperial march and the wedding march in such a way that the nerds in the audience giggle, but the stern matrons don't catch on? was my favorite mashup ever.

th3ph17, we had a super cool officiant; our wedding processional was the Rebel Army's Theme from Final Fantasy II. The whole wedding was FF themed, from the FF7 victory fanfare after the kiss, to the cake decorated with moogles and topped with figures of our characters from FFXI. Everyone loved it.

Is this really a mashup, or just a crossfade between two songs that happen to be in the same key?

It certainly works, but this is something that DJs do routinely.
