Chuck Tingle has released a new pro-union book, UNIONIZED IN THE BUTT AND NOW EVERYONE IS SAFER, HAPPIER, AND BETTER PAID. The book is free and only an available on Patreon. In lieu of payment, Tingle encourages readers to donate to the Amazon Labor Union Solidarity Fund.

I'm still on the fence about the degree to which Tingle's persona is a performance, but unlike many celebrities, he has yet to disappoint me, and is often fuckin' delightful.

Jorts has retweeted the announcement of the latest Tingler, while not making a comment on the content.

And I'm sympathetic to the "on the fence about the degree to which Tingle's persona is a performance" fear, but at this point he's been so relentlessly wholesome for so long, that... well, all the world's a stage, and many of us are self-aware about our atypicalness, so rather than getting too caught up in worrying about the meta-ness of it all, I'm gonna take Chuck Tingle at face value.

Because few other creators seem to be so intent on proving that love is real and reassuring me that my trot is valid.

I'm still on the fence about whether he's actually a sentient AI - it's nice to know they're pro-union if so, though.

I have my doubts about how easy it would be to maintain such an intense persona for so long, but at the same time, a few of the characters I've created are... Within sight of the ballpark Dr Tingle plays on.

But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. Dude is brilliant and always on the right side of issues, far as I can tell. Chuck Tingle for supreme emperor.

I've long thought that the U.S. should institute our own version of Japan's 'Living National Treasure' honor - and that Dr. Tingle should be our first nominee.
