For an instant, I wondered how Grover was reading the book without looking at the pages.

I used to read this to my little sister, it's a fun book to read out loud.

I loved the kids' reactions, and the "Thank you" at the end. :)

I loved this book as a kid, and I like it even more as an adult with little kid giggles interrupting the narrative. This is wonderful.

Thank you! This was such a favourite of mine when I was a kid.
Incidentally it also makes Grover a fun choice while playing Celebrity Heads. No one ever thinks to ask “Am I a Monster?”.

I loved this book as as a kid too. Over four and a half decades later, I still remember Grover lying there in a pile of bricks saying "Do you know that you are very strong?".

If you're having trouble finding the book, there's also an app version (playthrough video on YouTube, 6:44). There's another monster book app, as a sequel of sorts, with Grover and Elmo (YT playthrough, 6:30). Complete with Grover (and Elmo) voices, but distinctly missing little kid giggles from the video in the OP :)
I've played the first app, and it was kind of laggy on my kiddo's Kindle, FWIW. It appears to run quite nicely on the iOS in those videos.
