Kermit in a turtleneck looks like Larry David

That's more time I've spent contemplating the existence of Piers Morgan in a single sitting than I have in perhaps the previous decade combined. Bravo!

One of my favorite new follows on the hell site.

Great stuff! I had to stop before the end though, because while it is always good to see Kermit, looking at Piers Morgan for too long hurts my eyes. And my brain...

As much as I may agree with certain assessments, spelling mistakes above the fold are overly editorial.

Thanks for the Threadreader link, I really enjoyed this.

Is today Kermit day? I'm fine with it being Kermit day!

I'd rather not think about Piers Morgan at all, but this is acceptable.

I don’t mind thinking about Piers Morgan - I think very little of him, so it’s over quickly.

Derek Guy is a goddamned delight, and is on the short list of reasons I still check in on That Site. For those who are simply not willing to do so, however, he also has a genuine old-school blog at Die, Workwear!, which goes perhaps more in-depth into tailoring nerdery and has somewhat less snark than his Twitter account.

| Piers Moron's fashion style

I laughed but it doesn't take much.

The author of that thread has thought more about Kermit the Frog's wardrobe than I ever have about mine.

I am not sure which of us is more indicted by this fact.

Additionally, the people who dress Kermit have thought more about that wardrobe than Pier Moron has ever considered his. He apparently only looks good on his television show where he has professional dressers.

What this means is... even if all you are is a famous frog, let your dressers advise you!

You. No contest. Derek is, as Kat Allison notes above, a goddamned delight, and I love the way it appears that when offered an invite to appear on the shithead Morgan's show, he offered the world this instead. Perfection.

Apparently Apple Autocorrect has a thing it likes to do with Piers' last name? Interesting.

For non-Brits, the joke is that you can't tell which of the two is an absolute muppet.

Piers is the muppet? I thought Boris was the muppet! Am I losing track? I watch Pod Save The UK every week and listen to BBC World Service overnight...
posted by hippybear at 8:41 PM on May 2 [2 favorites]

Speaking of Boris, who is another absolute fucking muppet, who is finally facing some consequences for his own actions.

What did the Muppets ever do to justify their sainted name being used to describe right-wing shills and trolls?

Brits will colonize anything, even the Muppets.

a genuine old-school blog at Die, Workwear!

My shameful confession is that having only known him from his Twitter account, I always thought the 'die' was a German 'the.'
