I heart Jim Anchower.

Note that the employment application lists his reason for leaving 2 previous jobs as: "Boss was chick."

Yeah, Jim's a standup dude and all, but "I Guess I Got a Girlfriend" didn't make me laugh or even crack a smile. Dude, WTF? Now the classic Jim, like I Customized My Wheels, now that I can get behind. The Anch Man needs to maybe cool it on the maryjane, know what I'm sayin' to ya?

They couldn't have come up with a better URL for that. Maybe.

A friend of mine and I used to picture Jim Anchower having a pimped-out Pentium 90 computer. Now, he does appear to still own a super Nintendo, but he doesn't mention whether he's customized it or not.

But the Jean Teasdale page-- that is a thing of beauty. In comparison, the Jim Anchower page comes across as "let's get a web designer to make a funny page about one of the columnists."

When you are ready to have a serious discussion regarding the lack of a Larry Groznic page, you have my e-mail.

They've all had web pages available via the premium web access. They just nuked the premium web service so now they're all public.

H-Dog's Employer

I *love* Jean's URL. .../Rick/sportzone/misc/folders/Jean just about sums up her life.

"Took: A couple of resin jewlery classes...."

This format is so going on my next resume.

Weird. I just browsed this on an odd jaunt to The Onion. Thought it had been up for a while. Considering Wes's last entry was Jun 6th.

This squealing Jeanketeer is thrilled to finally find her home page. Too bad she hasn't added her adventures at Fashion Bug to her resume yet.

Smoove B Tribute Page, The Smoove Boudoir

In "Paging Mr. Stork!" (November 1992), I said I was expecting a baby. In truth, I was not expecting a baby.

Ahh Jean, will she ever win?

I tried this number-guessing stunt from the links page. It worked 6 times in a row. Anybody cares to explain how it works?

Oh, nevermind. Google first, post later

I saw Jean's and Jim's homepages when the FPP on the Onion's new format was posted a few weeks back. They are indeed hilarious. I can't even pick a favourite thing from Jean's page. The resume, the corrections, the want list, the fan fiction... it's all insanely great. Jim I read but don't like as much. I did like the latest column about him getting a girlfriend and hope Debbie sticks around. My favourite thing from his web page is Wes's corner - the guy's just such a sweetie.

thank you for the onion reference. Hal Jordan was, indeed, the best Green Lantern.
