Stop police brutaility this is wrong and even though I'm in Fargo I'm gonna dress in all black. This is an outrage and I won't stand for it. Please support us and wear black today. If anyone asks you why tell them and don't be shy.

Wouldn't safety orange be better? Practically everyone I know wears all black everyday. Anyone protesting certainly will not be obviously doing anything.
Love the new spell checker BTW.

That really should have been a link to the October 22nd Coalition site, but I'm glad to see it on MeFi in any form.

This is a great idea, and all, but they really should have picked some other colour than black. There are just too many of us who wear all or mostly black all the time.

Lookit me, everybody, I'm protesting! whee!... and yesterday... and the day before... this kind of "activism" is even easier than hitting "send" on an email form letter generator.

i've been protesting for a long time...except on days when my laundry selection doesn't permit. i also think safety orange would have been more of a statement.

seriously though...a protest like that is so high-school-spirit-week. I don't know a single person who would ask someone WHY they are wearing all black. Especially in the media field where its like a uniform. The cops where i live wear mostly black.

I will however, make a point of talking to someone today about police brutality, maybe even email my mom a link. Now Thats activism. We need a Try to Educate your Conservative Parents Day
