Some Guy's Blog, Plus Coke and Ikea

Minor Tweaks. No biggie, it's just some guy's little blog, with some hit-or-miss funny stuff and a few running features that are vaguely reminiscent of McSweeney's. The Ikea Dialogues and the Coke Dialogue are worth a chuckle. Note: Anna and Hank really do talk like that; I encourage you to go and harrass them (click "Ask Anna") yourselves. Start by asking if they're married, and take it from there.

The Coke Dialogue was cute. I like that kind of stuff.

Anna the Ikea-bot is awesome. I've spent the last ten minutes asking her out. She's biting her lower lip a lot...I think that means I'm breaking through her natural shyness.

Using highly advanced cut and paste technology, I just tried to have Anna and the Coke guy converse. Both wound up referring me to customer service. I feel like they told on me or something.

The Anna dialogues are pretty good. I mean, it totally reminds me of playing with Dr Sbaitso back when I got my first Soundblaster, but without the fun of making him pronounce words like "assmunch".

Anna doesn't like to talk about her feelings.
But I think she asked me out to a swedish restaurant, and then to get some Tea and or Coffee.

Also, she might be chained in a basement. She was dodgint too many questions.

I can't get Anna to confess to any of that Ikea viral advertising. She's a tough nut, for sure.

His "I have opinions" is also pretty good.

Too bad I'm at work. I'd love to set up Anna and Eliza.

Apparently Emacs comes with both a mode that emulates Eliza and a mode that generates Zippy the Pinhead quotes.

And there's a third mode where they talk to each other. Oh, those nutty guys at IBM!

"Do you like Pepsi?"

"No, I like the products of The Coca-Cola Company."

I think I'm going to legally change my name to "Hank the CokeBot". It's a sure shot at the fame and fortune I crave so much.

I talked to Anna back in June, including doing a bit of Star Wars and Pulp Fiction.

This still has me laughing:
Me: It’s like deciding between two kinds of chairs.

Anna: Here you will find the Chairs.

Me: You like the old chair but the new one looks comfortable too.

Anna: Here you will find your latest releases!

Me: I don’t care about that. Listen to me!

Anna: Don't worry, I know it's going to happen some day.

Me: What’s going to happen?
