Bummer that the game can't read my typestrokes. I was looking forward to reading "Subject has typed 'oh no, not this fucking shit again! I have work to do today! Lots of work!'". I was also hoping for bonus points.

I'm imagining this is what's happening at the NSA when they are bored out of their minds and decide to snoop at someone's computer. Also, that person is wearing an immaculate white lab coat and writing on a clipboard.

This is hilarious! I actually punched my computer!

this was an unexpectedly fun way to waste 10 minutes.

Looking at subject's time zone, you should probably be at work!

(They evidently know my time zone, but not my current country, or they'd understand perfectly well why I'm not.)

Can someone tell me the (generally accepted) nationality of the voice/accent?

They said I was "probably female" because I wasn't clicking fast enough. So I wouldn't say they should be accepted as 100% accurate.

Dutch?
This is kind of creepy in an interesting way.

Most people wait more than 95 seconds to press the button. Hmmm.

But I don't have a webcam!

Gave up after I managed to find bugs in both xmonad and chromium while exploring very very wide windows.

Many of the items can be tricked. For example: change your time (or time zone) settings, then hit refresh, and you can trigger most of the time-based ones. There's also some side-tricks, like aligning the window so part of it is just off the side of the screen, shrinking the website's resolution, then running the mouse along the edge to get the "straight line" award. Likewise, browser agent spoofers are effective for getting all the browsers. I managed to get to over 85% in about 10 minutes.

I keep a sticker over mine, so when it presented me with a screenshot, all I saw was brown. I can live with that! Now, ironically, I can't get it to give me the webcam notice again so that I can *decline* it.

It took the subject 238 seconds to click the button for the first time. That is slower than most others.

mystyk, did you have fun doing all that?
posted by INFJ at 9:51 AM on November 18, 2016

Yes, actually. The programmer in me likes to break down and *understand* systems, as well as find ways to exploit their assumptions, and this one is no different. That said, there's only so long I can avoid work... I think it's time to stop entirely.

Anyone interested can see the vast majority of the achievements (I have 16 left, and only 8 of those are still hidden where I can't even see what the achievement is) by looking here.

Clicking the button 25 times per second cannot be done without cheating, amirite?

A tip for the above-mentioned TANE: if you're waiting for the weekend, click along with the music and the pulsing TANE.
