There's a reason why you haven't seen these Prince videos before.

NPR says that we have SEVEN seldom-seen new Prince videos for old songs posted online to watch. They're basically all SLAVE-era videos. Endophorminmachine; Dolphin; Rock And Roll Is Alive! (And It Lives In Minneapolis) [Ed note: !!! (Ed. note to Ed. note: !!!)]; Eye Hate U; Gold [Ed note: !]; Dinner With Delores; The Same December
Songs are all from the mid-90s, I don't remember seeing ANY of these videos until today while writing up this post. And Prince is A Bit Of A Thing with me, although I don't profess to worship his Royal Purpleness like plenty of others do.
The NPR article suggests this might be a weekly release series. So.. expect more.

I'm sure there's a better resource to stay up-to-date with Prince's videography, but until then, here's the Prince videography page on Wikipedia.

Holy shit! I remember being puzzled that he wasn't releasing videos for these tracks back in the day — you had to keep up with him by catching his performances on late-night TV shows and the occasional MTV or VH1 special. Which were generally great, but I always wondered if he wasn't leaving money on the table by not doing more marketing stuff. The Gold Experience was a great but underappreciated record at the time.

I was just going to gripe about not being able to find a copy of Prince's last concert in Atlanta, but I just found it on SoundCloud. Prince alone playing piano, check it out.

Kevin Smith made a documentary for Prince that has not seen the light of day.

I have a musician friend who had never seen Prince before, and he was at that Atlanta show. Then, a few months later, my friend died unexpectedly. So I'm not sure I can listen to that show
