This post was deleted for the following reason: this looks like SEO spambait and I've clicked around it a whole bunch. If there's something really going on here, please find a way to make that clear in your post. -- jessamyn

Jeepers, a flying car! What fantastic wonders await us in the future!

This could be really cool, but isn't very deep. My favorite site for this kind of thing is Technovelgy.

Your future motorcycle will be a pushbike and your future energy will be a turnip.

Sorry to break it to you. This site has more value as retro-futurology than out else.

Future electronics will go way beyond the iPad..

Wow.

A single link to a 450 word story.

There aren't even five hundred words in this story, let alone the 500 Future Tech trends I expected.

Here are just a few additional sources of future energy:
...
• Anti-gravity

I can't even muster outrage or snark at this: this just makes me feel sad.

This site is about a foot wide and a millimeter deep, and the post even thinner and more press-release-SEO than I would have expected.

I'm happy, though, that Future Technology 500 seem to be looking at more than just the future of technology-- they've explored everything from the mid-90's to the mid-2000's to find their logo.

Finally, a website that re-creates the feel of all the classic 50s and 60s sci-fi where the Space Husband went off to his 9-5 at the Packard Rocket factory in HyperDetroit, returning home to his Space Wife (in her SynthCotton housefrock) for a meal of reconstituted BeefsteakMeal with PseudoPotato, before settling down to catch the evening newsvid on the telescreen (possible while enjoying a polypipe of ultrabacco).

There is a wonderful place depicted on the covers of Popular Science and Popular Mechanics, where the future is full of firefighting robots and flying cars that whizz about the brightly colored metal buildings and whitewashed streets of preplanned cities. Then it eventually shades into the Usborne Book of The Future and gets even ten times cooler as humanity expand into space.

This website does not show that techno optimist, Promethean future, although it very much would like to. But there's a lack of fine detail and non attribution of sources here. An intriguing idea, but its not up to the level of a Popular Science puff piece just yet.

This looks like one of a thousand search engine optimized content farmed websites trying to grab some narrow audience with regurgitated editorial that's been written in search engine standard English. Am I missing something here, because there arn't even 500 technology trends listed.

Man, you've got to use your third eye to see beyond what your eyes and imagination now tell you is possible.

This site like SEO spambait. But up a bunch of articles about 'the future X' so that random googlers come across it. There's really nothing informative here. There aren't even links or any kind of analysis.

If the header art is any indication, everything will look like early 1990s computer graphics.

In the future, the future will be foretold by spam bots.

A writer friend of mine told me his new secret was to only write, "The Future of X," articles, where X is art, music, architecture, film, etc. He says it works every time, he's sold them all.

I figure the in the future stuff is mostly the same but more of it so I figure we will have:

Twitter implanted in our brain, Twitter is now video based and ad supported , old spice ads play endlessly in our peripheral vision.

Everyone will be employed by facebook, our jobs will be clicking "like" buttons and playing farming sims. Food and rent will be paid for with FaceCredits that we earn by raising virtual sheep and selling them to china.

Sasha Obama will be the second female president. The first will be the bush twins who will have won a supreme court case to be co-presidents.
