Do cats actually kill other cats?

Probably via infected wounds. One way that cats kill prey is by biting it and then waiting for the subsequent infection to kill it off. This is why it is often pointless to rescue pigeons that have suffered cat attacks. They usually die anyway from infected wounds. Speaking from repeated unpleasant experience.
