Keisha's Valley
June 30, 2011 12:01 AM   Subscribe

Meet Keisha Fabo her friend Breadquanda and some b**ch named Deltrese. It's very blue humor, powered by Sims 3, with moments of absurdity familiar to fans of Fensler's GI Joe series or Xtranormal videos. Keisha's Valley appears to be the work of this Tumblr user. Here is his/her YouTube channel and, possibly, a related Twitter account. It has a growing fanbase on Tumblr.

Can you be offended by this if you're white? This is like watching the "It's Kwanzaa/MLK day, Charlie Brown" videos.

Digital minstrelsy.

Hurray?

Why is this auto-tuned?

Digital minstrelsy.

My impression exactly.

That is a pretty terrible In Living Color rip off.

1993 called, and it says Martin Lawrence wants his shtick back.

1993 called and said, "Honestly? It wasn't especially funny then either."

They don't even do a good job of maintaining the accents. The autotune is weird and the framerates suck.

Evidently the distance between humor and annoying is getting shorter as I get older.

I wonder how long it's going to take adult swim to pick up something like this. They could scoop up all sorts of machinima and flash shorts into some sort of new cartoon sushi thing. I mean this is already funnier than Xavier.

What is this? Teh Dramah of teh Po' Niggah Hoes? I'm supposed to find this funny?

This feels racist, misogynistic and wrong. Whatever color or gender the creator may be.

What went so wrong in your life that you felt like this was worth posting to?

Even the 10 seconds I gave it was too long.

On the plus side, there was a My Little Pony reference, so it can be discussed in the ongoing MeTa. That's efficiency. And, you know, not so funny.

I think I saw this on the Red Box Channel.

I feel bad that this sort of thing is getting any attention*, let alone developing a frickin "fan base". I mean, there is no attempt at all to make these characters even remotely comprehensible or interesting, except as objects of mean ridicule. Who could possibly be a "fan" of this?

*Including this comment, and the time I spent watching a couple of the clips.

I feel stunned, baffled, offended and irritated. Amused, not so much.

This is pretty much the best thing to watch near the end of this graveyard shift. My brain is already scrambled and this is like the gravy.
