An 18 year old Neil deGrasse Tyson meets Carl Sagan. Short, sweet and the definition of what it means to have class. (via Boing Boing).

Wow. What's impressive is that this isn't just some geeky fanboy reaction to meeting one's hero. It clearly was, instead, a defining moment in Neil deGracce Tyson's life. It reverberates with a significance that edges into moral enlightenment.

Good on Carl Sagan. Good on Neil deGrasse Tyson. Good for the world.

Oh no, a Carl Sagan and NDT post. Must resist .... fuck it.

How many imagine such a meeting, Sagan and NDT slash art.

Damn, sorry, missed it because the last link was a YouTube. Glad if this lets other people see it.

Awwwww. I have, um, something in my eye. I didn't see this the first time, so I'm glad it was posted today.

I really like the notion of "paying it forward," and I especially like when it is treated as an obligation, not just an afterthought.

Yeah, I thought this seemed familiar. But the double was worth it because it gave us that insane slash art!

Totally worth the double for Ad Hominem's link! A RPF fandom I didn't realize I wanted more of until I saw it!!!

Jesus. I used to think Rule 34 was satire. Not anymore.

I had not seen this the first time it was here, but yeah, this was amazing.

(the interview with NDT; not the fan art, I saw that on reddit this morning)
