I know "ignore them and they'll stop" is often bad advice, but I can't help thinking these folks sure do get an awful lot of the attention that they want for no particularly good reason.

Why are people surprised by this crap? The Westboro Church makes their money by getting people angry, and then suing anyone who assaults them or shuts them down or otherwise violates their rights. They don't believe their own signs, and they don't care if you think they're being hypocrites. Ignore them.
