You say you needed a 1950s German-language space-themed musical number to make your day complete? Well, right this way then to "I Am So Bored"/"Mir ist so langweilig" starring Marika Rökk.

This number comes from the 1958 movie Stage Free for Marika/Bühne frei für Marika (wiki in German). Here's its IMDB entry.

Can I just say that this is why I love Metafilter?

Also, the jungle sets reminded me of that old live-action Peter Pan movie they used to play on TV. Except that this time, they had more actual animals, but less fake mushrooms.
