I'm taking bets right now on which gets pulled first: This kickstarter project that is linked or this FPP. It's +180 for kickstarter project pulled and -200 FPP pulled for the starting odds.

Ok, not sure Kickstarter is worth just $19 million dollars. Then again, using the same metric used for that site (http://www.worthofweb.com/), Metafilter is valued at $15.6 million.

I value companies for a living, and I'm telling you that Kickstarter is in fact worth $19 million. Or I can tell you it's worth $25 million. $15 million, if you need to go the other way. $14.78 million sounds precise.

And yet he limits the rewards at the $5,000 level to 100. So that will get him to $500,000. Similarly at the $2,000 level, he can get at most $200,000.
He's going to need a lot of $10,000 backers.
