Israelis aren't all mad...

The occupation is discussed on Big Brother. A really interesting video of a discussion taking place on Big Brother in Israel (I know, I never thought that might be the place to find such discussions). It offers some insight into the thinking of the Israeli public and how pervasive the right-leaning mindset is there.

This post was deleted for the following reason: This is maybe sort of interesting as a peek into Israeli TV culture, but without some context on that it's kind of "here's some reality TV", and the framing of the post isn't helping. -- cortex

Is there a transcript for those of us who can't risk political screeds blasting from our speakers right now?

None that I can see, but there are subtitles.

the video comes with English captioning, so you can mute the audio.

From an American TV viewer's perspective, that's an interesting conversation to see broadcast on what is—I presume, from the hosts' comments at the end of the clip—the equivalent of broadcast primetime. I don't watch enough primetime television to be an expert, but I get the impression you don't see many similar conversations on, say, The Bachelor or our version of Big Brother.

The FPP could have done without the editorializing, which is especially flamebait-y given the topic, but still, interesting.

Some people might not understand immediately what is meant by "the occupation". And the post is a little heavy on editorializing.

Not necessary with this video, but If you're slacking off on the tubes at work, definitely invest in some headphones.
