Mr. Strachman, 92, got a $400 professional duplicator to make seven copies at once, and spends as many as 60 hours a week copying. With postage of about $11 a box and the cost of the blank discs, he has probably spent more than $30,000 sending DVDs. Since 2003, he has sent hundreds of thousands of illicitly copied movies to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. (New York Times)
