Yeah, "errant." I'm sure he was just browsing for some new SAS code and BOOM BUTTPLUG POP-UP! Happens to me all the time when I'm perusing Stack Overflow, although JSTOR pop-ups, oddly enough, are all gay porn.

Although I like data-driven art, this post just seems like political trolling. If you swapped Democrats for Republicans in this article, 90% of Metafilter would be up in arms about it. But hey, because this is a liberal website, it's OK because it's just Republicans! Everyone knows those guys aren't human.

It's so excellent when so many fields of knowledge and science, hard data sets and political commentary come together to be produced and shoved up the deserving accommodating asses of liars, hypocrites, power-freaks, manipulators, fear-mongers, egomaniacs, proto-fascists, sleazeballs, con-artists and sociopaths.

Yeah.....I am visualizing the reaction here if it had been President Obama or Clinton or any number of famous Democrats.
But to be fair if they had a John Edwards version we would probably see bipartisan consensus.
