Paleo Proponents of the Paleo Diet often swim the Blue. What about contemporary hunter gatherers? Ponzer et al show that the quotidian repast of such folks is quite diminutive compared to typical US Americans and other Westerners with large diets. One related comparison by Menzel and is visually surprising.

So can the Blue handle one more conversation about food and how to eat it?

This post was deleted for the following reason: This seems like a little bit of a mess, not sure what the last link is for since it seems like just a "buy this book" page and kicking off a post with a sort of rhetorical question about whether or not it'll go well here seems like a bad idea. -- cortex

What exactly am I supposed to see in the "one related comparison" link? Just looks like a bunch of undecipherable thumbnails meant to sell a book.

Most of the contemporary hunter gatherers I know eat mostly old bagels.
