Stockholm based studio Humans since 1982 have created a kinetic piece of artwork called "A million times" out of 288 computer controlled analog clocks. The effect is lovely. [via]

One of the reasons I read MetaFilter is to have my assumptions challenged constantly. For example, if you'd said to me yesterday, "Hey, komara, would a wall full of clocks ever be so simultaneously mesmerizing and dizzying that you'd feel the need to look away because it's causing your brain to malfunction to the point that you might be considering throwing up because maybe that would be better than looking at the clocks?" I would have said, "Don't be ridiculous."

Very interesting, visually engrossing.

This needs four or five minutes without cutting away--barely have time for the presentation to register before it fades out. Is there another link that shows the piece, or do we get to see only this teaser?

Don't make me go to Dubai.
