Please tell me where this island of men is. Thanks. - George Takei

At the National Organization for Marriage's Marriage March, Buzzfeed got 20 young people to write why they were supporting "traditional" marriage. Apparently, it went viral, and George Takei "simply had to respond." Here are his response to 9 of the young people's comments.
This post was deleted for the following reason: I love Takei as much as anyone, but this is still Buzzfeed linkbait. -- restless_nomad

Why use the phrase "support traditional marriage"? I support traditional marriage. I also support non-traditional marriage. I support shacking up without being married. I support celibacy, for that matter.
The question isn't why do you support traditional marriage, it's why don't you want people who aren't like you to be happy?

Of course I 100% support marriage equality but this is still a grown man picking on children.

Why use the phrase "support traditional marriage"?
It sounds better than 'I hate fags'.

But not curious enough to, you know, actually go looking and find out. Thank you for actually bothering!
