Joshua Katz is a PhD student in the Department of Statistics at NC State University who is studying American dialects. The preliminary results of his research project "Beyond "Soda, Pop, or Coke" show us 122 maps of some of the differences in American speech. (Via)

In the west, they call it a repeat.

In the south, they call it Coke, but they call all posts Coke.
