Australian has a new PM, same as the old PM

Australia's first Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, has been deposed by the Prime Minister she deposed, Kevin Rudd, after three years of party in-fighting. Australia's next likely PM, Tony Abbott, is overjoyed. Meanwhile, a few months after half the front bench resigned when Rudd faild to challenge, the other half is going. Oh, and Gonski education reforms passed, Gillard's hallmark reforms.

Australia's first Prime Minister

Think we need an edit to the first sentence.

This is funny because I'm reading Bill Bryson's In A Sunburned Country, where he mentions how ignored Australia's PMs are.

That's a shame. Regardless of the ins and outs of the situation, she was always the target of a ridiculous and shameful amount of misogyny (e.g. this disgusting menu - ha ha my aching sides... :( ). Some men clearly can't handle the idea of a woman running anything and that is depressing.

Why must you compound my pain?

(I contacted the Mods. Silly day. Silly end to day.)

But Bill Bryson is too often correct.
