This reminds me of the stage teenagers go through where they think that if something is mean and irreverent enough, it will automatically be funny. Making fun of people who don't eat gluten, girls who get drunk, and asthmatics ... Edgy.

Lunasol kinda nailed it. Too much angry. Sounds like someone who's used to railing against locally unpopular things and getting sympathy laughs but who never learned how to make an actual joke.
