Apparently the kitties are very well fed in Indiana.

This post was deleted for the following reason: This is pretty thin for a post. Cat emoticon shown to scale: (=^・^=) -- cortex

I for one welcome our 15' tall kitty overlords.

I've seen this before- it's just saying that if the cat is sitting on top of the trailer, that's what it would look like for each bridge clearance.

This is how graphic designers win bets with sub editors about who should be paid more.

I swear I saw this like 2 years ago, but articles say June 27, 2013.

So the image is saying that an average house cat is a little over a foot tall. I have an average house cat right next to me and that seems about right, although I'm not going to measure him right now. What is the point of this post?

More seriously, is that a 6" clearance for semi trucks under a couple of those bridges? That seems alarmingly low.

for scale of what?

Shelleycat, look at the scale again. Someone chose a reference (housecat) for a chart measured in inches, but this chart is measured in feet. Giant kitties destroying our bridge overpasses!

You can really separate the people who can read a graph from the people who can't with this.

This is the problem with feet and inches. We would avoid a lot of confusion if we all just used metric cats.

Hmm, the scale only runs from 13.5 to 15 feet, which makes the cat appropriately sized I guess, but weird.

No, you look at the scale again. The cat starts at 13'6" and ends at 14'9".

We have a bridge that is in danger of being trod upon.
