Only the ones in colour, like #24, are animated.

Only the ones where the thumbnail is in color are animated. The animations use Canvas, so that may be the issue.

The book is great. The animations are going to be cool, when they have a bunch of them. Although most of the mechanisms are more toys than anything convincingly useful.
