#solidarityisforwhitewomen

Prompted several weeks ago by a dismissive tweet aimed at his colleagues of color by Hugo Schwyzer (previously), the hashtag #solidarityisforwhitewomen (background) has exploded on twitter as an examination of the frustration, racism, and erasure that women of color often deal with at the hands of modern feminism. The hashtag has prompted a lot of discussion on intersectionality and how feminism relates to women of color including an on-going series by NPR involving a cascading discussion by notable voices (links inside).

That "Return of Kings" site you link for background sure seems like a gem of a place.
Return Of Kings is a blog for heterosexual, masculine men. It’s meant for a small but vocal collection of men in America today who believe men should be masculine and women should be feminine.

Oh, oops about that link. I was just looking for something to summarize the whole thing a in a nutshell off google, and that was what popped up first. I'll get the link replaced with something better.

...in favor of creating an androgynous and politically-correct society that allows women to assert superiority...
Wouldn't a specifically androgynous society by definition allow neither women nor men to assert superiority? or have I been watching too much TNG?

Post about dismissiveness in feminism is dismissed as tempest in teapot. Predictable film at...now.
