I thought this all happened already.

It's been a while since I clicked on a link with such alacrity.

Jesus, as a Canadian ex-pat in the States I'm a little annoyed that this wasn't actual news.

As a regular American scientist, I am also annoyed this wasn't actual news.

As a human being - who lived in Canada for a while and has family there - I am also annoyed that this is not true.

As somebody across the pond from y'all, this also annoyed me. Harper is so lucky he has a Ford to soak up media attention for him.

It's not as though people weren't warned early enough in his administration.

Really, the Harper administration is excessive... it's like a version of The Aristocrats that has gone on for so long that it's not funny anymore.

As a regular American scientist, I am also annoyed this wasn't actual news.

I went to a Canadian high school and one of the things I got exposed to was a tradition of highly rhetorical, political polemic that this article somewhat plays off of. So, no, it's not actual news. But it does have a context, in particular a Canadian one.

Sorry about that everyone, I was wondering if the ongoing cryoseisms were an apocalyptic sign that there was going to be earth-shattering news from Bytown soon.

I thought the thread would be all over his poke at Baird; it is pretty rare for mainstream media in Canada to comment on a politician's personal life. Personally, I'm not one to repeat gossip, even if it is about a friend of Dorothy Stephen.

But seriously, even before the last disastrous poll (NP) numbers, there has been chatter that our Dear Leader (G&M) won't make it to Oct 2015. So there is always hope.
