Leah Green secretly films men's reactions to lines taken from @EverydaySexism.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Nothing but praise for Green's work to raise awareness, for my part, and I know she addresses some of the criticisms in the article; but looking at it from this site's perspective there's at least a couple of (potentially totally cool) people who are apparently unaware they're being recorded for the public at large to view, and that's something we really don't do here. -- goodnewsfortheinsane

The men's disbelief mirrors the disbelief we all should still feel when such acts of everyday sexism happen to women; their surprise reminds us this should not be taken as a compliment, or brushed off, or tolerated.

That's an interesting point, the fact that we can be many things when we are sexually harassed, but never surprised. I think I might start acting completely stunned, and rather than walking past and swearing under my breath (my usual response) I might just completely flip out like "WHAT did you say?! How can you say that? What the fuck is wrong with you? Would you speak to your mother like that?! The very nerve!!!" I'd like to imagine them taking a sheepish step back. I can but dream...
