Doctors can't think of every possible diagnosis. Now people with unusual symptoms, who have been unable to get a diagnosis, can turn to a website - https://www.crowdmed.com/ - to let everyday people make suggested diagnoses.
If this had existed ten years ago, my sister might have been spared the six months going from doctor to doctor, and eventually diagnosing herself (she had nerve damage caused by Yersinia food poisoning).
