Pythagoris Switch is a Japanese television show. Known for delightful Rube Goldberg machines, and always ending with the same little melody. posted by idiopath (6 comments total)

I love to see some of the objects they use to construct their elaborate machines. Books, glass soda bottles, a roll of first aid tape, a square can of Coleman's Mustard, are those 9 volt batteries as dominoes?

Also, you can sing along with the ending musical signature: "Pitagora Suichi!"

The Japanese seem to have this ability to create delightful things without irony or pretension. It's really refreshing.

Also, that gif, omg.

I love Pythagoras Switch, and have for some time.

On a related but less adorable note, throwing this domino video out there in case anybody missed it.
