U.S. District Judge Joseph Bataillon issued a preliminary injunction in the case brought by seven same-sex couples in the state... The ruling has taken much less time than many. The judge has ordered marriage recognition and licenses to become available March 9th. The usual assortment of officials and haters are commenting and will no doubt apply for a stay. But NEBRASKA.

UPDATE: The state of Nebraska has filed an appeal in the 8th Circuit US Court of Appeals.
