For the first minute, it's more like, "Would you like to watch two cats get teased with twenty fish on a plate as someone walks laps in their backyard, constantly clicking."

Those are fairly skinny cats. Where's the video of them puking all the fish up all over my carpet?

I don't think they're going to puke, but I sure hope they poop outside.

I find the background sounds really relaxing. Birds, frogs, a gentle breeze, distant traffic and the soft rending of flesh.

I think at one point there are some corvids talking about (a) the fish, (b) but those cats, and (c) that human.

According to my math, this means one cat can eat 480 fish in a single day.

Given that this morning, my cats, deciding that it was a weekday, decided to meow like once every half hour from 5:00 AM in this meow that was like Meeeeeeoeeeooow and then wait until I went back to sleep and then stick their lips all over my lips:

Tease those cats. Yeah. Show them who's holding the plate of fish and the clicker. Do it.

And when they were done, they ate all the loaves too. Cats are such dicks.

If these cats are anything like mine you can put another 20 fish in front of them tomorrow and they'll stick their nose up and refuse it.

Huh. I've only watched the first 17 minutes so far but it really looked like the black and white cat was outpacing the brown and white kitty like crazy -- the black and white guy put 8 fish away in the same amount of time as the brown and white one ate a good portion of only 4 fish.

But then ... intrigue! The black and white cat decided to play with his ninth fish, batting it around with his paw in that "look ma i'm making it look like it's still alive and fighting me!" way that cats do, whereas the brown and white kitty went about its way steadily eating just the heads off of 4 more fish.

So now I really have no idea who is ahead in this fish-eating contest. I can't wait to see what happens in the final half! My bet is on the black and white kitty -- I respect that the brown and white cat was pacing himself and has been the most steady performer, but I think the black and white guy was just having a little break and is going to come back in full form!

Yes I think I'd have to call it for the black and white kitty, even though brown and white guy snuck in at the end and ate up that last fish that so distracted black and white cat. (I wonder why that one gave them both so much trouble? It seemed hard to eat somehow.)

Black and white cat had 8, then polished off the body part remains of 4 or 5 more, so while it was a closer race than it seemed like it would be in the beginning (and you have to give some respect to the brown and white cat for knowing just what he wanted and eating so very many fish eyes), I think the black and white cat still came in ahead. And had enough time to have a little bath at the end.

Plus, respect to the black and white kitty for not whinging to mom about his brother eating off all the fish heads.

This concludes my Mother's Day reporting of cats eating raw fish. Back to you, Al.

Sorry wait a minute, I just read the poster's youtube comment. All the fish were sardines except that last one, which explains why neither cat was crazy about it.

Also, apparently after the male black and white cat ate its fish, it climbed a giant tree to (unsuccessfully) hunt a squirrel. Black and white cat is true embodiment of badass cat.

@thecjm, if you want to see cats vomit, feed them fish with a higher level of thiaminase than sardines have.
Why Fish is Bad for Your Cat
Apparently, pork contains a lot of thiamin, so I'd like to see the follow-up video of these two cats devouring platters of piglets.

This is something I feel I'd need some sort of good drugs I've never had or never heard of to enjoy and be fascinated by. Found the first 30 seconds unbearably annoying and I'm not sure why. So I stopped.

Found the first 30 seconds unbearably annoying and I'm not sure why.

Cats have evolved to communicate, when they are in need of things that require human intervention, with humans in ways that humans find HIGHLY ANNOYING until the humans fulfill the cats' needs, for, for example, fishes. So I think that just proves that you are human.

(It gets less baby-crying annoying a few minutes in.)

I've seen quite innocent looking cats do Threat Level Delta on pretty tough dogs. I'm not betting on most dogs against two outdoor cats. Minimally you'd have a standoff with your average 40 pound domestic dog.

Try bathing a cat to see why size and brute strength are no match for Claws of Fury II: The Shredding.

And by the way I grew up with two huge male tabbies who were littermates as kittens, and they absolutely both hunted and defended as a team. The pair of them made mincemeat of several unwise canine intruders.
