Re-Issue the CBC Graphic Standards Manual

The head of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada is trying to get the CBC's Graphic Standards Manual re-issued. The CBC manual was written and designed by Burton Kramer, the creator of the CBC's iconic "gem" logo.
He hopes to launch a Kickstarter campaign similar to the one for NASA a few years ago.
Watch a trailer for a documentary on Burton Kramer here, and of course shop for all things CBC here.

This post was deleted for the following reason: All defensible nostalgia about the logo/manual etc. aside, this is in a kinda weird pending-kickstarter territory that's not really a great fit for the front page. May -- cortex

This is basically a kickstarter. Do we do these here?
Also, this manual should be scanned and on archive.org, not costing $90 for a boutique copy. We Canadians, after all, paid for it.

I am a fan of the CBC. I have worked for the CBC. I know the CBC. And that logo is, and always will be, the "exploding pineapple."
