Fasting mimicking diets seem to have a lot of benefit

Review of recent studies on calorie restriction including some info on human studies. The article started off with the new to me story of the patient who in 1971 ate nothing but fluids, yeast, and multi-vitamins for over a year. Lost 276 lbs and "...suffered little or no untoward effects on his health". Wouldn't have thought that was possible. Only gained back 15 lbs 5 years later. Anyone have a better/more-recent link to this material?
