The Gentle Oraclebird is a Twitterbot that dispenses beautiful tarot-style readings from an original deck designed by Shing Yin Khor, aka @sawdustbear.
Shing is an amazing creator, and this is also great, and in case you're in Columbus, you can see it as an in person installation at the 934 Gallery. Also if any of you were at Burning Man and saw The Apothecary or The Last Outpost, she was creative lead on those projects too.

I've been diving into her comics and haven't even gotten to the sculpture, installations, or tarot-bot yet, so thanks!

This is cute!
Is it gauche to come in here and mention that my Silicon Dawn deck has a Twitter? It doesn't respond, just tweets a card about once a day.

Shing is also the mad genius behind @pythiaBot, which is what I've been using to fill out birthday cards at work for the past few months.
But now the people I like will get more gentle/coherent inscriptions.
