A list of things made in the good ol' USA

This post was deleted for the following reason: Maybe try this again with a little more narrow framing about what this list actually represents (what kind of companies, how chosen), to set expectations better? -- LobsterMitten

Is there a way to filter/sort by product or location? Alphabetical listing only really seems useful if I have a company in mind and want to see if it's on the list. Like, why can't I sort by "bicycles" or "denim?"

They have only one "K" company listed.

Completely missing Kokomo Opalescent Glass of Kokomo, Indiana.

After reviewing what they have listed, it's like the list creators only read fashion magazines. There's hardly anything in their list that isn't fashion, clothes, personal accessories, or otherwise advertiseable in fashion mags.

There are thousands of USA companies doing other things. Like manufacturing toilets. And solar panels. And programmable logic controllers.

Where are they?

Not on this list.

This is a highly distorted list.

AND BEER. There is no beer on this list.

And possibly wanting some context.

For higher quality lists, you have to look at the imports.

Though I'm not familiar with the A Continuous Lean website, it looks like many other gear/lifestyle blogs so it's probably going to slant pretty heavily toward clothing and accessories. I don't think this is intended to be an exhaustive list of all companies making products in america or anything.

So it's a list of potential advertisers, should you want to target that demographic.

So much spam.
