Sean Hannity's fave artist has a change of political heart ?

Apparently one of Sean Hannity's favorite artists, Jon McNaughton, has had a political change of heart with respect to his artistic expressions. In his latest work, McNaughton paints the President treading on a timber rattlesnake , as depicted by the continental marines Gadsden Flag , symbolically killing the attempts of the American every-family to grow unity and prosperity. He motions to them with a wry smile, as the rattler struggles under his foot. Is he unwittingly killing the snake ? Is it intentional ? Do the onlookers in the background see the struggling symbol adopted by the Continental Congress in 1778? Will the tread upon rattler strike against it's assaulter in retaliation ? McNaughton leaves these conclusions to the viewer in this subtle and powerful work of art.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Sorry, I get the intention but this is kind of just "look at this asshole's art" and with framing that I suspect won't lead to a great thread. -- LobsterMitten

Alas, here is the artist's commentary:
Last year we elected President Trump. He expressed by his words and demeanor what Americans wanted - a man who was not going to bow down to Washington or other countries. A man that would not forget the “forgotten men and women” of this country who elected him.

I want a president that will crush the enemies of liberty, justice, and American prosperity.
So apparently it's not a Gadsden reference, but rather an "America, Fuck Yeah!" image with Dominionist overtones.

Reading the description, it's pretty clearly a biblical reference to crushing the serpent's head. He's still deeeep in dominionist Trumpland.
