Tablet Magazine’s Yair Rosenberg on twitter:
1. Jew asks @womensmarch co-chair why she supports American anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan
2. Anti-Semite replies "but Israel," as if that justifies Farrakhan's hate, then calls for Jesus to cast "wicked spirit" out of the Jew
3. Linda Sarsour interjects to defend … the anti-Semite”
CNN’s Jake Tapper: 1/ Wherein the co-chair of the @womensmarch, amidst criticism of her attendance at an anti-Semitic Farrakhan speech, tweets praise for those leaders who "have the same enemies as Jesus."
Journalist Sulome Anderson: I’ve kept silent on this because I think energy should be focused on the more immediate problem of racism, Islamophobia and anti-Semitism on the right. But the more I learn, the more confused I am as to why supposed champions of progression would give Farrakhan the time of day.
Writer Jill Filipovic: I have great admiration for @TamikaDMallory, and am disgusted at the never-ending right-wing smear campaigns against her and @lsarsour. But also, as leaders of the women's movement, you have to be accountable and transparent. Here, I see deflection and circling the wagons

This post was deleted for the following reason: In general a few inflammatory tweets on a super charged subject doesn't make for a great post to Metafilter, and this seems to be a currently-evolving, less than an hour old twitter fight that you're involved in? which makes it at best extra weird. -- LobsterMitten
