Daily Beast columnist Stereo Williams has tweeted a bunch of "longass threads about legendary music (artists, labels and eras)". There's something for nearly everyone, from Prince to Slick Rick to the Beatles (and a Beatle and another Beatle) to women in hip-hop to just a bunch of Legendary artists hangin out and lookin legendary.

... Reminds me sadly that Tom Sutpen's seminal web 1.0 photo blog "If Charlie Parker were a Gunslinger, There'd be a Whole Lot of Dead Copycats" is no more :(

Music Sermons from Twitter's Naima Cochrane (@naima) are pretty similar if not a little less biographical.

Given that Williams seems to be getting a lot of attention for the thread of "legendary artists" photos, some acknowledgement of the photographers would be nice.

I appreciate the impulse to share the history, and am not questioning his motives, but absent any credits or links, this is straight-up using work created by other people to get hits, reTweets & "likes" for himself.
