A new way of framing children's learning style and personality has taken hold, from author Thomas Boyce's 'The Orchid and the Dandelion.' The book explores two distinct developmental styles, and how to foster appropriate environments to help either thrive.

But where is the test to find out whether I have an orchid or a dandelion?
Honestly it seemed extremely vague and the book reviews didn't sound any clearer. (They said the book shone in it's memoir part rather than it's child philosophy.)

Considering the "gifted" bullshit I was put through as a child and my late diagnosed autism, this whole concept gives me flashbacks and hives. New concept! Children as individuals! How about that ughgghhh
