Defeating Individualism to Defeat Climate Change

This article by the guardian argues that we have to overcome decades of neoliberal training to focus on our individual actions, and step into the ring as a collective in order to defeat the corporate lust that is driving climate change. "Eco-consumerism may expiate your guilt. But it's only mass movements that have the power to alter the trajectory of the climate crisis."

I also just want to add that while having children may be referenced here as environmentally unfriendly, adopting certainly is not, and parenting a thoughtful, aware generation will go as far as we can in creating the best world possible.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Heya, as a general thing posts on the front page need to be framed somewhat less personally than this; it should be more "here's an interesting link", less "here's my thoughts about this". -- cortex
