Sunao Tsuboi, a survivor of the Hiroshima bombing and vocal campaigner against nuclear weapons, passed away at 96 on Oct 24th. Obits: BBC, Asahi Shimbun, NYT, Globe & Mail.

This sent me looking to see if the English subtitled testimonies from the video rooms at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park are available online. It looks like a few are, but only a few. (Or maybe I'm just good enough at navigating websites in a language I don't speak to find them.) Though, there are some related, if incomplete, efforts in the same direction. It also lead me to this rather hopeful news story.
