Interesting idea, but starts to drag after a while. The future needs to be more concise.

"How it do, Vitamin?"

The only thing that clued me in it was old was the video resolution, otherwise it could have been written this morning.

This is all the more frightening given The Onion's once-surprising knack for satirizing things that eventually come true.

I do miss this era of Onion video shorts, which includes such classics as 'Just Give Me The Damn Sepak Takraw Ball' and Are We Giving Robots Too Much Power?. The newer TikTok parodies and such don't pack the same zing for me, and I'm not sure what's up with that movie review stuff but it doesn't seem super funny.

I can’t count the number of times I’ve stumbled on one of these old videos and got excited for a fleeting moment that it is new.

Seriously, would love their take on the Now Times. I suspect they were ahead of their time as video content online was just a fledgling industry that was mostly the Really Plugged In. Now, they’d make a killing. (Or am I misremembering and they actually aired on tv proper?)

The editing of this video is absolutely killer. Their TV show was the only thing to ever give The Day Today a run for its money on the sheer hyperkinetic jampacked humor front, and the fact that this video throws three layers of joke on-screen at all time massages a part of my soul.

This was a little too on the nose for me to find it funny...
