Israel Regardie's Tapes

It's the Holiday season. Are you stressed? If so, you might enjoy listening to some of the tapes recorded by Israel Regardie for Falcon Press in the early 1980s. I particularly recommend #1 on Awareness, #2 on Relaxation, and #11 on Rhythmic Breathing.

Poster's Log: Even if you are not interested in Ritual Magic, I think you might enjoy the recommended tapes.

Wow, really cool. I didn't know Regardie made any audio recordings. Thanks!

Wow. This takes me back. I *think* a housemate had these on cassette, back then.

I have a bunch of old VHS tapes. A lot of Kid stuff, some other. And the entire series of the "Mechanical Universe". That first year Physics Program put out by Stanford. You can find episodes on yutube but the way I watch it doesn't allow me to control the speed so I recorded it one year.

Oh, and some blank VHS tapes.

Been thinking about throwing them in the trash. Would rather donate them somewhere.

Hi wowenthusiast! It is a eurorack module that continuously plays back a number of “stations” of sound. One “plays” the module by electronically selecting which station and where in the timeline the digital play head is. It’s fun for semi-randomly putting sounds into modular patches, or in this case spoken word snippets. I’d go on but have derailed enough 😎. More here : https://youtu.be/9g2Q0esgBuk

I miss Falcon Press. Used to have most/all of the Robert Anton Wilson stuff. Some Falcon books probably haven’t aged well (some, if my vague recollections are any indication, aged REALLY badly), but a lot of their books were a welcome indie publishing wellspring of hippie freak culture in the 1980s.
