A 15 Days Golden Experience with the Golden Teacher Mushroom

The Psilocybe Cubensis Golden Teacher mushrooms grow large and thick, like a golden hat, hence the name. The first crop they supply will be ready to cut after 15 days since it is a highly valued shroom among professional growers.

GOOD RESULTS ARE ENSURED BY OPTIMAL CONDITIONS

They are simple to cultivate since they thrive in temperatures ranging from 23 to 25 degrees Celsius and humidity levels ranging from 60 to 80%. Keeping the temperature and humidity consistent would enhance the outcomes. The first week is critical for the cake's proper acclimation and the initiation of the first harvest of mushrooms. A 1200 ml grow kit may produce yields of up to 400 grams.

A PERFECT SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE

The Golden Teacher mushrooms, as is usual with psilocybin mushrooms, take you on a trip from euphoria to laughing to a state of creative cognition.

Short instructions for the grow kit:

● Clean your hands before using the grow kit, and operate in a clean environment.

● Remove the included bag from the cardboard package

● Fill the plastic bag with one to one and a half (0.2 to 0.3 L) glasses of water (not in the cake box). Use bottled water instead of tap water.

● Place the plastic box containing the substrate in the water-filled bag.

● Only open the plastic box containing the substrate (the cake) in the water-filled bag.

● Keep the lid on for future flushes.

● Using a sprayer/water atomizer, softly spray the opened kit/cake (use only still
mineral water).

● Seal the top of the plastic bag with two to three paper clips or adhesive tape so that the bag is tight and enough air humidity can develop.

● Place the closed bag somewhere warm. The ideal temperature is between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius. The temperature must be maintained at a steady level.

● Once a day, unzip the bag momentarily to allow fresh air in.

● The first findings will be available in around two weeks.

The Grow Kit includes the following items:

1x Grow Box - This comprises active mycelium (the cake) substrates.

1x Grow Bag - The grow bag includes a micron filter to remove contaminants.

You should have the following items on hand:

Water sprayer - spraying is required to maintain humidity levels.

Bottled still water - for spraying

Work in a clean atmosphere to avoid allowing undesired fungi and bacteria
(microorganisms) to pollute.

We recommend using a face mask.

● Gloves that can be discarded (e.g., latex)

● Sanitizer for the hands

● Spray surface disinfectant

● Thermometer

● If the room temperature falls below 18°C, use a heating pad.

How to Prepare Yourself and the Room Before You Begin

● Close any windows that are left open. Wind and breezes might introduce bacteria into the grow kit, contaminating it.

● To avoid contamination, take the grow box, including the cake, out of the cardboard box and place it on a sanitized surface.

● Use clean hands and arms. We recommend using sterile gloves and a strong disinfectant to handle the kit. Wear a mouth guard to keep the grow box and cake from getting in touch with your breath.

Temperature

The optimal temperature is 24°C. Allow the temperature to not fall below 18°C or increase over 26°C. It would help if you used a heating mat to keep the temperature above 18°C.

Light

The magic mushroom grows kit requires light for mushrooms to grow. A few hours of fluorescent/artificial light or indirect sunshine each day is more than enough. Direct sunlight will destroy the mushroom! Make certain that the sun does not shine directly on the grow box.

Spraying and humidity

Begin spraying one day after you begin the treatment. Remove the paper clip and unzip the grow bag. Instead of spraying directly on the cake, spray each of the four corners of the grow bag once. So you spray once a day for a total of four sprays. The spraying procedure also brings new oxygen into the grow bag. After spraying, immediately re-seal the grow bag with the clamp.

Mushrooms

Fungushead says the first little mushrooms should appear after 6 to 15 days. You have a natural product on your hands. As a result, more specific information is not possible and may take longer.

Flushes

The mushrooms grow in clusters (flush) and can be tiny or huge. A kit can provide more than one flush. The first two flushes, though, are the biggest. As additional flushes emerge, they will be smaller than those that came before.

Harvest

Mushrooms are mature when the visible veil between the mushroom cap and stem has just been pulled away. Harvesting should take just a short time. Hands, wrists, and arms should be cleaned using sterile gloves and disinfected. Only harvest ripe mushrooms and let the others grow. To remove mushrooms from the cake, grab the mushroom at the base with your thumb and fingers and turn your hand slowly until the mushroom comes off. Pulling mushrooms to avoid damaging the mycelium may result in the death of your growth!

Mushrooms that sprout on the edges

Fungi thrive where the light falls, and there is low penetration resistance. Fungi can develop on the sides of the cake since light shines on them as well. This is tough to avoid. We generally advise against darkening the sidewalls of the grow box since it has more bad than beneficial impacts.

Further Flashes

After harvesting, fill the granules with a tiny amount of still mineral water so that around 1 cm of water collects on the bottom of the plastic box for the next flush. Then, with the lid closed, place the plastic box in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Then, gently drain the excess water and repeat the process as indicated above. Typically, you should get 2-3 flushes. Skilled growers, on the other hand, will achieve far more.

The end of life of the Golden Teacher magic mushrooms

If the grow kit becomes green, red, grey, or yellow after the second flush or no more mushrooms emerge after three weeks, trash it. Color variations suggest kit contamination by another fungus or bacterium. Dispose of the grow kit outside your home, not in your rubbish bin.
