The Vomit Boat Will Soon Be Making Another Run...Promises Microbes For Everyone... Well, assuming it's not terrorism, here is NOT a group of vicitims for whom my sympathy flows. Or even trickles. A worse, more cringe-inducing vacation proposition than a cruise? Maybe a cruise to one of those "Sandals" all-inclusive resorts.

How about a Disney "Big Red Boat" cruise to a Sandals, or better yet to Hedonism II?

A breakout of the shits causes a breakout of schadenfreude? Can it be?

Only subsequent posts will tell...

My mother took the whole family on a cruise last November and I enjoyed the experience rather a lot. Could you fill me in on what kind of person that makes me?

" Definitely situated on the American Cultural Axis of Evil."

Exactly. What the hell are these people thinking? Enjoying a vacation that ParisParamus doesn't approve of? What a bunch of losers. Hell, if they enjoy things that ParisParamus doesn't like, I suggest that they *deserve* to get sick.

Clearly there is a conspiracy of some sort if tens of thousands of people enjoy doing things which ParisParamus finds distasteful. Don't these people have any consideration for ParisParamus's opinion? Did they even consult ParisParamus?

ParisParamus is the authority on whether things are fun. The sooner everyone gets in line with that the better. ParisParamus = fun, fun, fun.

Well, I confess I generally find myself diametrically opposed to PP's views, but here, he's spot on. Never been on a cruise, never will. David Foster Wallace has, IMHO, the definitive word on the subject.
