dailygrowler, couldn't you find a book with a nice protestand name on its cover? It's not what it says, see; it's who says it that seems to be important (to supporters of badass Amerikkka). I know the book, by the way, and it's very well researched. But, as mischief said, I'd hate to be you in this thread.

Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed is a dedicated, brilliant, scrupulous researcher. He backs up his claims with blizzards of footnotes. In the overall story he tells - of the rather base motives of US foreign policy in the Mideast - it does not sound as if Ahmed breaks new journalistic ground. But I'm sure he's dug up a wealth of new supporting evidence, and he's a fine writer. A properly appalling read, I'm sure.
