Slip o' the Freud? We WILL have a draft, no wait, we WON'T!
C'mon, if a girlfriend or boyfriend made some kind of "...DID see my ex, no wait, I DIDN'T see my ex..." would we simply let it go without a raised eyebrow, or at least making a mental note?? How about a boss, "...as for the future we WILL NOT be renewing contracts -- wait, we WILL be renewing contracts..." would you go back to work with no nagging doubt?
